Biomechanics-2004. Abstracts of reports at the 7 th Russian conference on biomechanics in 2 volumes.

VII Russian conference is a planned event of the Russian Academy of Sciences supported by the Russian Fund of Fundamental researches.
The Organizing committee received 10 lectures and 171 reports, including those for the sections: “General biomechanics” – 21, “Engineering biomechanics” – 34, “Medical biomechanics” – 71, “Biomechanics of sports” – 32, and “Teaching of biomechanics” – 13.

Reports are sent from Australia, Belorussia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Slovenia, USA, Ukraine, France and Japan. Abstracts of reports from Slovenia, France and Japan present results of works carried out together with Russian colleagues. Geography of Russian cities is rather broad: Belorechensk, Vologda, Ekaterinburg, Ivanovo, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Kurgan, Maikop, Moscow and Moscow region, Nalchik, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Petrozavodsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St.-Petersburg, Taganrog, etc.

Materials of the book are grouped in two volumes and five sections corresponding to topics of the conference sections; a separate section of the 1 st volume is devoted to abstracts of lectures. Abstracts inside sections are arranged in alphabetical order according to first author's surname. Index of authors is placed at the end of the 2 nd volume.
