2009 - Doctor of Technical Sciences (Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, N.Novgorod) speciality: 05.11.13 - Devices and a quality monitoring of the natural environment, substances, materials and products; thesis: Phase and modulations means of measurement for not destroying control of materials and designs.
1996 – an academic status: senior scientific researcher.
1992 - Ph.D. (N.N.Andreyev Acoustics Institute, Moscow) speciality: 01.04.06 – Acoustic; thesis: The ultrasonic phase measurements of vibrodisplacement designing for the solution of the vibrodiagnostic problems.
1980 - M.E. in radio engineering (Gorky Politechnical Institute, Gorky (now N.Novgorod)); speciality: radio engineer.

Scope of professional interests:
- development and manufacturing of ultrasonic phase meters of vibrodisplacements in the air environment, and their use for the decision of problems of vibrating diagnostics of materials and designs (contactless measurement of vibrations);
- development and manufacturing of ultrasonic locators (defectoscopes), using nonlinear acoustic effects (use of radiation pressure of an ultrasonic wave, powerful acoustic impulses, modulation of a sound by a sound) and their use for the decision of problems of not destroying control (NDE) of materials in the technique (detection of micro cracks) and medicine (remote research of viscous-elastic properties of biological tissue);
- sensors of displacement and force for measurement of is viscous-elastic properties of tissue (skin, muscle);
- invent activity.

Professional career:
1980 - the present: Institute of applied physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences; posts: engineer-trainee, engineer, junior scientific employer, research scientist, senior research scientist, leading research scientist.
1999-2000 - practice on nonlinear ultrasonic diagnostics of materials at the Edison Joining Technology Center of The Ohio State University (Ohio, Columbus, USA).
2001 - practice on ultrasonic diagnostics in medicine at the Artann Laboratories (West Trenton, New Jersey, USA).

Bronze medal of the Exhibition of National Economic Achievement (VDNH, Moscow, 1986) for creation of an ultrasonic vibrometer.
Bronze and silver medals of 57-th International salon of innovations, scientific researches and new technologies "Brussels Innova/Eureka - 2008" (Belgium, Brussels, 2008) for nonlinear acoustic and ultrasonic methods of detection of cracks.
The grant of Fund of assistance to development of small forms of the enterprises in scientific and technical sphere ("fund of Bortnik", START-2004); the project: Working out and research of base variants of ultrasonic modulation defectoscopes (2004-2005).
The participant of 11 grants of the Russian fund of basic researches.
