  • 1977 – 2003 – Head of Plasma theory laboratory, Head of Plasma physics department, Director of plasma physics and high-power electronics division, Deputy director of the IAP RAS for science
  • 2003 – 2015 – Director of the IAP RAS
  • since 2015 – Scientific supervisor of the Institute of Applied Physics RAS
  • 1992 – up to now – vice-president of GYCOM Ltd.
