1999: graduated from Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod (Faculty: Advanced School of General and Applied Physics; Master degree in Physics)
2003: Ph.D. thesis "Nonlinear dynamics of microwave and optical discharges under plasma resonance conditions" (supervisor: Prof. V.B. Gildenburg)

Interaction of powerful electromagnetic radiation with matter, Physics of microwave and optical discharges, Laser-plasma methods of electromagnetic wave generation
